The hotel entirely was amazing: facilities, room, breakfast, pool etc. Quiet and peaceful place with an excellent attention from its staff.

Wow! What a wonderful hotel! Where do I start? It is set in a beautiful old colonial style building right in the heart of old Valledupar. Rooms are set around a garden patio. Our room had its own patio with hammocks and tables and chairs to sit and eat. Breakfast was exquisite. The staff were so friendly and helpful, attentive at all hours of the day. They were able to arrange trips with incredibly knowledgeable guides (ask for Jorge). If you love Vallenato and you ptobably do if you're coming to Valledupar, then this place is a treasure trove. There are stacks of classic records by Diomedes lying around, a Hohner Corona III siting in the corner. An old gramaphone. Wonderful articles all around the hotel to gaze at. There's a small swimming pool to cool down after the heat of the day in the Valle. It is very secure. The central park is five minute walk, and all streets of note are a stone's throw awayReally for me this is the hands down best hotel in Valledupar. Highly highly recommended. Book early so as not to be disappointed. If you are going for the festival book a year ahead!!!
